About WealthBrief

Under the banner of “Financial news that pays”, we cover everyday economic topics — interest rates, exchange rates, real estate, investing, taxes — honestly, backed by data and verifiable sources.

Who Runs WealthBrief

WealthBrief is an independently operated one-person media outlet. The editor publishes under the pen name Calm Investor and currently serves as a Wealth Management (WM) team lead at a mid-sized Korean securities firm, with expertise in real estate finance, fixed income, court auctions, and NPL (non-performing loans). Due to current employment, the author’s real name and employer are not disclosed. Instead, the content production and verification process is made fully transparent.

Why WealthBrief Exists

Financial information is abundant, but context tailored to readers’ real situations is rare. WealthBrief exists to bring practitioner-level insight to everyday economic news — explaining what rate moves, policy changes, and market data mean for your actual loans, savings, and investments.

What We Stand For

  • Accuracy: Every figure and claim is grounded in reliable sources. We do not exaggerate or fabricate.
  • Practicality: We go beyond reporting the news to explain what it means for your loans, savings, and investment decisions.
  • Neutrality: We do not promote specific products or agendas. We provide balanced information so readers can form their own judgments.

Topics We Cover

Korea-US interest rates, exchange rates, household debt, real estate policy, asset allocation, tax strategies, side hustles, and income diversification — the money issues that 30- to 50-something professionals and investors actually care about, published in both Korean and English.
