Editorial Policy

Editorial Standards

1. Facts First

All figures, dates, and policy details are verified against primary sources before publication. Primary sources include official government press releases, Bank of Korea and FSS (Financial Supervisory Service) statistical releases, DART filings, and court auction data. News reports are used only as supplementary reference. Figures without a confirmed primary source are either labeled “source unverified” or withheld from publication.

2. Reference Dates on All Data

When citing variable data — rates, FX rates, prices — a reference date is always stated. Example: “Bank of Korea base rate 2.75%, as of April 10, 2025.” Vague language such as “current” or “recent” without a date is not used.

3. No Exaggeration

Credentials or awards that do not exist are never claimed. Return rates and outcomes are not inflated. Definitive expressions such as “guaranteed returns” or “100% safe” are not used. Analysis is presented, but investment outcomes are not warranted and no specific conclusion is imposed on the reader.

4. AI Usage Policy

AI tools are used for material organization, draft structuring, and proofreading. All figures and conclusions are verified against primary sources and approved by the editor before publication. AI-generated outputs are never posted without human verification.

5. Investment & Tax Disclaimer

WealthBrief content is general commentary for informational purposes and does not constitute investment advice or solicitation for any specific financial product. For tax and legal matters, readers are advised to consult qualified professionals.

How to Submit a Correction

If you find an error, please email the Contact page with the following:

  • URL or title of the article
  • The incorrect sentence or figure
  • The correct information with supporting evidence (primary source link or screenshot)

How We Handle Corrections

  • Submissions are reviewed within 2–3 business days.
  • If an error is confirmed via a primary source, the article is corrected and a correction note (date + summary of change) is appended below the article.
  • If there is a difference of interpretation or opinion, we respond with our reasoning and evidence.
  • Submissions that are factually incorrect or unsupported are also reviewed, and the outcome is communicated to the sender.

Corrections Outside Our Scope

Correction requests regarding individual investment outcomes, tax treatment, or legal judgments fall outside WealthBrief’s editorial scope. Please consult the appropriate professional (tax accountant, attorney, licensed financial advisor).
